These Big Sur maternity photos were SO fun to shoot! Brittany and Colby have been some of my biggest supporters throughout my photography journey. So naturally, I was so happy and excited to do her maternity photos once she became pregnant! Even though I had only shoot in Big Sur one other time when Brittany suggested it, I was thrilled! I have always wanted to go back to Big Sur so I knew it was totally meant to be! We made a weekend of her photo trip and hit some iconic locations in Big Sur and the redwoods nearby! Brittany and Colby’s Experience During Their Dreamy Big Sur Maternity Photos
We started off our trip with a visit to the Big Sur Redwoods! There we found this stunning waterfall and knew it was the place we wanted! When we started the session they really showcased their love and excitement for there baby to come! It was so sweet. After the waterfall, we traded in her beautiful red dress for a dreamy flowy, white gown. The back drop of the redwood forest and her radiant smile really made this photoshoot feel like a dream! It was here where we got some beautiful photos showing off her baby bump, furthermore we got some awesome photos of the parents embracing all the stunning nature around them!
An Adventure Filled Maternity Session On The Coast Of Big Sur
After our wonderful stop at the redwoods near Big Sur, we made our way to the iconic Bixby Bridge. There, we found this cool little cliffside spot that gave us the opportunity for some epic shots! This is one of my favorite spots to shoot at because of how absolutely breathtaking every angle is! The best part about this location is the cliffside with the majestic mountains peaking behind. Brittany was quite literally beaming with joy during this session and it was such a pleasure to be a part of! To make the session that much more magical, at the end you could see the orange hues off of the clouds with the mountains and the ocean in the background! It was an epic finale to my second ever Big Sur photoshoot!
