Having the opportunity to capture a surprise proposal never get’s old! And it’s especially exciting when it’s a surprise Yosemite proposal! That’s why when Victor reached out to me to plan his Yosemite proposal to Heather, I was so stoked! Victor and I had a month of Zoom calls to plan out every detail of the proposal. We both wanted to ensure it went perfectly. I knew that Tunnel View in Yosemite National Park would be the PERFECT spot for their Yosemite proposal. The sunrise is epic and so romantic!
Victor’s Surprise Sunrise Yosemite Proposal to Heather
We planned to do the proposal at my secret rock spot at Tunnel View. I sent Victor a video about a week before the date to show him exactly how to get to the spot. Victor studied the video and told heather that his co worker told him about a secret spot that he needed to take her to see at sunrise. I was waiting on the rock for them with my camera under a blanket and coffee in hand. I acted as if I was also there to enjoy the sunrise. Victor then seen me and nodded to know we are in the right spot.
A couple minutes later, Victor asked me if I could take a photo of them with their phone (all planned). I then started taking pics of them with their phone and he turns and gets down on one knee right there. I then pull out my professional camera and was able to capture the whole thing perfectly! It couldn’t have been more perfect. We then went to Swinging Bridge Meadow, Yosemite Falls (we climbed all the way up to it) and then finished at Valley View. These are all my favorite Yosemite Valley locations, and I’m sure you can see why!
