Common FAQs
Q: HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE PHOTOS and WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?
A: Your edited high resolution photos are delivered to an online gallery called pixieset. Elopements are delivered within 8 weeks and adventure sessions are delivered within 2 weeks of the session.
Q: WHat if I'm awkward and don't know how to pose?
A: I've got you covered! Everyone thinks they will be awkward in front of the camera but I give fun prompts and give you direction that makes you forget that you have a camera in front of you! I will make sure you are comfortable don't worry! I am also not afraid to let you know if something isnt working or if we need to change up the pose a bit to feel more comfortable and natural for you!
Q: What kind of equipment do you use?
A: This might start getting a bit technical, but I personally use two Canon R5 camera bodies with 35mm, 50mm, 15-35mm, 24-105mm, and a 70-200mm. Every moment matters and I want to make sure I am covered for everything that might come my way.
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are $1000 due at the time of booking (within a week) and then the remainder is split into two more payments. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/4's or even monthly payments if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: what happens if you aren't able to make it to our big day?
In the super unlikely event that I am too ill, injured, or there's some other emergency, I have a list of colleagues that we can call on to replace me that have similar styles of photography & editing. That said, in the 6+ years I've been doing this, I have never even been 60 seconds late. You're in good hands. I promise.

We hired Alyssa for our Yosemite elopement and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Leading up to the elopement, Alyssa made sure to understand what we wanted out of the day and executed the day exactly how we envisioned it to be. She made sure we got all the photos that we liked when we were talking about inspiration photos. We took both sunrise and sunset photos, and she was absolutely down to do anything we wanted. She was super nice and sweet to work with and made sure we were comfortable the whole day. When we got our full gallery back (which was in about 3 weeks), we were blown away by all the photos and she captured all the memories and emotions of the day well. Alyssa made our honeymoon shoot at Yosemite truly magical. We are no models - in fact quite awkward with a camera! - but Alyssa made us feel so relaxed and managed to capture our raw moments perfectly.

Our family photo session at Yosemite with Alyssa was a dream! We were newbies to the park and she guided us through all of the best locations and timed our sunrise shoot perfectly. She was able to capture beautiful photos, even with our kids' silly faces/poses and aversions to wet grass. If you are looking for an invested photographer to capture your special day, or even a shoot of your family, Alyssa is where it is at! She was amazing for our wedding, spending over 8 hours running around in 100 degree weather to capture every moment!
