Sunrise Elopement at Glacier Point Amphitheater

There’s something unreal about getting married at Glacier Point Amphitheater the views, the quiet, the early morning glow, it all comes together in the best way! Rebeka and Tanner wanted a simple, intentional day surrounded by Yosemite’s best scenery, and starting at the Glacier Point amphitheater made everything flow so seamlessly. It is definitely one of my favorite spots for sunrise Yosemite elopements!

Why Sunrise at Glacier Point Amphitheater Is Worth It

If you’re thinking about where to get married in Yosemite, Glacier Point Amphitheater is hands-down one of the best locations, especially at sunrise!

  • It’s calm before the crowds show up
  • The morning light is actually insane for photos
  • There’s built-in seating for guests
  • Easy access for family members who can’t hike
  • Plenty of parking
  • And you can host up to 50 guests

Their ceremony started right at 7:00 AM, while the mountains were glowing pink and gold in the background. It was peaceful, emotional, and honestly felt like Yosemite was showing off just for them

A Glimpse Inside Rebeka & Tanner’s Yosemite Elopement

Right after saying their vows, they jumped into family photos with the prettiest morning light you can imagine. With 16–20 guests, having the amphitheater seating and that open overlook made the whole process super easy! Then we wandered around Glacier Point for their portraits with the dramatic cliffs. Once we wrapped up at Glacier Point we headed to Tunnel View for some iconic shots. Then we moved into Yosemite Valley for meadow photos. Rebeka and Tanner really wanted as many backgrounds as possible, so we explored multiple spots!

We met up again right before sunset and made the hike to Taft Point. The views were insane, the light was warm and glowy, and Rebeka & Tanner ended the evening with lantern photos as the sun went down. It was the perfect way to close out a full-day Yosemite elopement!
