My love of people is what got me into photography. Each session is different from the last, and I love being challenged to get fantastic photographs no matter what the location is, or what the weather is like.My photography style is timeless and true to life colors with a punch. I love to capture all of the wonderful and silly moments, while you and your loved one are having an amazing time during our time together.
In my spare time, I love traveling with my family, throwing backyard get togethers, listening to my favorite podcast while I edit, my peloton bike, camping, making/eating albondigas and going on adventures with my amazing clients!
Photography is my job, however, capturing moments of my life and those around me is also one of my great pleasures.

Common FAQs
Q: HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE PHOTOS and WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?
A: Your edited high resolution photos are delivered to an online gallery called pixieset. Portrait sessions are delivered within 2 weeks of the session.
Q: WHat if I'm awkward and don't know how to pose?
A: I've got you covered! Everyone thinks they will be awkward in front of the camera but I give fun prompts and give you direction that makes you forget that you have a camera in front of you! I will make sure you are comfortable don't worry! I am also not afraid to let you know if something isnt working or if we need to change up the pose a bit to feel more comfortable and natural for you!
Q: My session comes with 10 images, what if I want them all?
A: Additional images are $15 each or you can purchase the whole album for an additional $150
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are $100 due at the time of booking (within 48 hours) and then the remainder is due the day of the session. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/4's or even monthly payments if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: How do I book you?
A: Love that question the most! To book me, simply let me know some dates that work, then we will decide on a location together over a phone call or email. Once we have the details figured out I will send you a proposal with a contract and a invoice and once that's completed, were all set!
Our time with Alyssa was such a great experience. My bride and I had no idea what we wanted or what we liked. We gave her a couple of ideas, but she took charge and with her expertise and professionalism, knew how to navigate us into creating the most beautiful wedding photos at Sequoia.
She knew exactly what would look beautiful and what would be a waste of time. She would ask throughout our session if there was anything we wanted or needed.
Alyssa knew exactly where to go and what time of day would create the best memories. I am not photogenic, my wife gets annoyed with me when we take pictures, but Alyssa put both of us at ease and brought the model out.
I can’t say enough about Alyssa’s art and professionalism. Our brief time together, my wife and I both know we picked the right photographer to work with. We were blessed to be able to work with such a talented and genuine person.

It took us a while to find the right photographer for our wedding. My husband and I are very passionate about photography, and we had a specific vision for how we wanted our wedding photos to turn out. When we finally found Alyssa via instagram, it was almost instantly that we knew she was the one. We loved the bold colors of her photos and how at ease her clients looked in them.
…and then we learned first hand why those clients looked so content. We had never met her before the wedding day, and from the moment she walked in I felt her warm presence and just grabbed her and hugged her. Her professionalism and attention to detail stand out so much, all while making you feel like she’s a friend you’re hanging out with. What I appreciated the most about her though, was how obviously and beautifully obsessed she is with what she does. Her excitement and enthusiasm while taking my photos pulled me out of even the most stressful moments. OMG. Alyssa was freaking incredible and such a joy to work with on my proposal photoshoot in Yosemite. She made it so easy and was so proactive about brainstorming ideas not only on location, but the detailed coordination and logistics to make the best surprise for my now-fiance.
She knows all the best spots to take photos in Yosemite Park (some spots are only known to a handful of photographers). My fiance and I felt so comfortable the whole time we took photos and Alyssa was able to bring out the best in both of us to capture most precious moments.
I cannot recommend her highly enough for any photoshoots in California (and maybe beyond?). She will go 110% to give you the best experience possible.

If you are looking for an invested photographer to capture your special day, or even a shoot of your family, Alyssa is where it is at! She was amazing for our wedding, spending over 8 hours running around in 100 degree weather to capture every moment! She remembered to capture every scene that we had mentioned was important to us and did a beautiful job with the colors of the outdoors and getting the right angles. Not to mention receiving a personalized usb and wooden box for our memories after it is all said and done. You can count on her to be thoughtful, strategic, and bring a nervous bride some ease. I highly recommend her to anyone looking for amazing photos, I mean her portfolio speaks for itself.
