My love of people is what got me into photography. Each session is different from the last, and I love being challenged to get fantastic photographs no matter what the location is, or what the weather is like.My photography style is timeless and true to life colors with a punch. I love to capture all of the wonderful and silly moments, while you and your loved one are having an amazing time during our time together.
In my spare time, I love traveling with my family, throwing backyard get togethers, listening to my favorite podcast while I edit, my peloton bike, camping, making/eating albondigas and going on adventures with my amazing clients!
Photography is my job, however, capturing moments of my life and those around me is also one of my great pleasures.

Common FAQs
Q: HOW DO YOU DELIVER THE PHOTOS and WHAT IS YOUR TURN AROUND TIME?
A: Your edited high resolution photos are delivered to an online gallery called pixieset. Portrait sessions are delivered within 2 weeks of the session.
Q: WHat if I'm awkward and don't know how to pose?
A: I've got you covered! Everyone thinks they will be awkward in front of the camera but I give fun prompts and give you direction that makes you forget that you have a camera in front of you! I will make sure you are comfortable don't worry! I am also not afraid to let you know if something isnt working or if we need to change up the pose a bit to feel more comfortable and natural for you!
Q: Do you offer payment plans?
A: Yes, I do! Traditional payments are $100 due at the time of booking (within 48 hours) and then the remainder is due the day of the session. But, if you wanted to do the payment plan, I can stretch it into equal 1/4's or even monthly payments if that works best for you. Just let me know what you prefer, and I will make it happen. It's that easy.
Q: How do I book you?
A: Love that question the most! To book me, simply let me know some dates that work, then we will decide on a location together over a phone call or email. Once we have the details figured out I will send you a proposal with a contract and a invoice and once that's completed, were all set!
We hired Alyssa for our Yosemite elopement and we couldn't have asked for a better photographer! Leading up to the elopement, Alyssa made sure to understand what we wanted out of the day and executed the day exactly how we envisioned it to be. She made sure we got all the photos that we liked when we were talking about inspiration photos. We took both sunrise and sunset photos, and she was absolutely down to do anything we wanted. She was super nice and sweet to work with and made sure we were comfortable the whole day. When we got our full gallery back (which was in about 3 weeks), we were blown away by all the photos and she captured all the memories and emotions of the day well. I would highly recommend Alyssa for any of your photography needs!

Alyssa made our honeymoon shoot at Yosemite truly magical. We are no models - in fact quite awkward with a camera! - but Alyssa made us feel so relaxed and managed to capture our raw moments perfectly.
Before shoot day, she also addressed our DMs very quickly and even scheduled a call to get to know us and note all our requests down. Alyssa is The Photographer for Yosemite. She knows the park very well, including all the private spots with the best sunlight and angles.

Alyssa was such a blessing on our Elopement day.
Who you trust to capture your wedding is a big decision. From the very beginning Alyssa took the time to get to know us and what was important to us. She gave great advice as we planned our elopement timeline, she was very responsive, and we never felt like we couldn’t reach out with questions. She also quickly provided an alternative site for our first look the day-of when our original plan wasn’t going to work. Hero!

Our family photo session at Yosemite with Alyssa was a dream! We were newbies to the park and she guided us through all of the best locations and timed our sunrise shoot perfectly. She was able to capture beautiful photos, even with our kids' silly faces/poses and aversions to wet grass. Unfortunately, we are from the East Coast or we would hire Alyssa for all of our photography needs! If you are looking for an invested photographer to capture your special day, or even a shoot of your family, Alyssa is where it is at! She was amazing for our wedding, spending over 8 hours running around in 100 degree weather to capture every moment! She remembered to capture every scene that we had mentioned was important to us and did a beautiful job with the colors of the outdoors and getting the right angles. Not to mention receiving a personalized usb and wooden box for our memories after it is all said and done. You can count on her to be thoughtful, strategic, and bring a nervous bride some ease.
