Ellie & Joe’s Engagement Session

We kicked off the morning bright and early (worth it for that glow!!), and right away, the vibe was so fun and relaxed. Ellie had mentioned she was a little nervous about looking awkward in photos and I totally get it, it is a concern that a lot of my couples have. But I let her know right away that my style is all about candids, movement, and making you feel comfortable. Within minutes, they were laughing, goofing off, and just soaking it all in like pros!

Ellie wore the cutest yellow dress that popped perfectly against the granite cliffs and golden light, it was so perfect for a summer session! Tunnel View seriously never gets old, it is one of my favorite spots to watch the sun rise in Yosemite National Park. Their photos here were full of movement, laughter, and that just-engaged excitement.

After soaking up the views, we wandered down into Yosemite Valley and explored more hidden gems. These two were totally into the blurry, motion-filled, candid photos! Every photo had so much personality and just felt like them being together, no stiff poses or awkward moments. These are the type of sessions that I LOVE. The kind where we’re laughing, running around, and capturing real moments and in an epic place like Yosemite, they’re just 10x better.
