Day One: A Cloudy, Romantic Ceremony at Pray Lake

We kicked off Hailey & Ryan’s Glacier National Park wedding with getting ready photos at their cozy Airbnb near Summit Mountain Lodge. It was cloudy that day, but honestly, the overcast skies made everything feel even more cinematic. Think moody mountains, soft light, and all the cozy feels.

The ceremony took place at Pray Lake, and I actually got to help pick the spot (which made it feel extra special). My family and I scouted a few days beforehand and found the perfect tucked-away corner of the lake. It was quiet, peaceful, and the views were unreal. Hailey & Ryan exchanged vows right there by the water with the mountains behind them! Literal magic.

Right after, they had their first dance and parent dances on the beach. Then we wandered around for portraits, and one of my favorite parts was their canoe moment!! They really wanted photos in a canoe, and it totally paid off!  We ended the day with dinner back at Summit Mountain Lodge with their guests, and it couldn’t have felt more intentional or relaxed.

Day Two: Sunrise Adventure Along Going-to-the-Sun Road

The next morning, we woke up before the sun and made our way to Going-to-the-Sun Road. Glacier really showed off, the soft golden light spilling over the mountains, the peacefulness before the crowds, the way Hailey & Ryan just soaked it all in together. It was one of those mornings you never forget.

We explored a few pull-offs and scenic overlooks, letting the light and views guide us. There was no timeline, no pressure, just space to be together and soak up every little moment.
