Ryan and Kenie had such an intimate Mammoth Lakes elopement. They are truly one of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with! From start to finish, the day was flawless, and we captured some truly epic and unforgettable moments.
Ryan & Kenie’s Intimate Mammoth Lakes Elopement
They began their day by getting ready at Cinnamon Bear B&B, and it was such a cute place. For their first look, we found a private spot just down the road. I escorted the bride while my second shooter took the groom to the location, setting him up just before she arrived. It was so special! Their private vows were one of the most memorable highlights of the day! We then went to Convict Lake for their ceremony and it was just as intimate and amazing! Afterward, we went to the Hot Creek Geological Site for sunset, and the scenery was epic! The photos went far past our expectations. Ryan and Kenie are such a deeply in love couple, and I truly enjoyed every moment spent with them throughout the day!
Words from Ryan and Kenie!
Alyssa was such a blessing on our Elopement day.
Who you trust to capture your wedding is a big decision. From the very beginning Alyssa took the time to get to know us and what was important to us. She gave great advice as we planned our elopement timeline, she was very responsive, and we never felt like we couldn’t reach out with questions. She also quickly provided an alternative site for our first look the day-of when our original plan wasn’t going to work. Hero!
Alyssa has so much love for people and the outdoors and it shows in how she captures it – beautifully done. She made us feel at ease and gave direction when it was needed – so important and results in better photos. She genuinely cared about us having photos we will cherish for many years. Alyssa is a wonderful person and gifted professional. We love our gallery and would re-book with her in a heartbeat!
Why Mammoth is Perfect for Elopements
Mammoth Lakes is an ideal location for couples looking to elope! It has such breathtaking scenery, from snow capped mountains to crystal clear lakes! These stunning natural elements create a romantic and memorable backdrop for any elopement. A plus about Mammoth, is that it is a beauty all year long! Whether it’s snowy winter or vibrant summer. If you’re looking for snow capped mountains and blooming florals I recommend spring!
Planning Your Mammoth Elopement
You don’t need a permit to elope at Mammoth Lakes! Since permits are not required, I recommend a weekday elopement in the morning! Remember to be mindful of wildlife and leave no trace behind. Next is to choose a season you love and set a date and time for your elopement! Once a date is chosen, hire a photographer who can help you create a timeline and help navigate choosing all the spots to visit in Mammoth Lakes and all the activities you can do during your elopement! Make sure to choose attire that is comfortable for movement! Especially if you’ll be doing activities or hiking. Also don’t forget to pack comfortable, weather appropriate shoes.
