From Sunrise First Looks to Sunset Celebrations: A Full Yosemite Wedding Experience

Jessica and Colin’s Yosemite wedding was breathtaking! It was a 10 hour day allowing us to capture each part of their journey from dawn to dusk in Yosemite’s diverse landscape! From the sunrise first look at Glacier Point to their celebration at the Ahwahnee Hotel, every moment was filled with love, joy, representing what Yosemite is all about!

Jessica & Colin’s Full Yosemite Wedding Experience

We started the day early at Glacier Point, just before sunrise. Jessica and Colin shared their first look as the early morning light illuminated the valley below. These quiet, intimate moments were some of my favorite of the day! Jessica and Colin got to soak up each other’s love before the day started.

After capturing their first look portraits, we headed to Tunnel View and Cook’s Meadow, where the Yosemite landscapes provided a stunning backdrop for more photos. Here I captured more playful moments and their genuine connection! They rode around in a bike as I captured candid moments as they rode through the meadow!

The mid-day break allowed everyone to recharge before the ceremony at Cathedral Beach. I met back up Jessica and Colin at the Ahwahnee Hotel, for getting ready photos and capturing those intimate pre-ceremony moments and final details. Then we headed to the ceremony at Cathedral Beach and they exchanged vows on the pebble beach with El Capitan towering above. They had an intimate ceremony with about 50 of their close family and friends.

The day wrapped up with a lively reception back at the Ahwahnee Hotel, where guests gathered to celebrate with heartfelt toasts and joyful memories. I absolutely loved this split-day timeline that gave us the flexibility to capture their intimate moments at sunrise and being able to recharge and continue the day!
