Fall Couples Photoshoot At Cottonwood Park

This adorable fall couples photoshoot with Haylie and Gage was so fun and sweet! We decided on having their session at Cottonwood Park in Clovis, California because it really had the perfect setting for the fall vibe. It was an amazing location because there was tons of fall leaves all over the ground! And, the leaves on the trees had officially changed to the beautiful autumn colors. It was so beautiful! A Fun & Beautiful Fall Couples Photoshoot In Clovis

These two really wanted to have a couples session in the fall setting to celebrate their 6 year anniversary and just have fun!! When I knew this I told them that we had to 100% choose October or November. This was to ensure that the colors were exactly what they wanted! We did a morning session because of the light that we knew would shine through the trees and less people at the park! Fun fact: these two were not engaged during these photos but they soon got engaged after this day and they are now married!! And, I was lucky enough to capture all of it! So sweet!

How To Choose Your Fall Session Outfits

Deciding on outfits for your couples session can be hard! So, I wanted to give some tips to you to make your choosing an outfit process easier and fun! Fall outfits are some of my favorites!! You can layer, wear the flannels, wear the jackets, say yes to the boots and more!! What I would recommend is definitely layering with plaid or printed work over a simple solid color. A good rule of thumb to follow is to pair a pattern with a solid shirt and colors with neutrals! Also, if you have a hat or beanie that you could use for part of your session – bring it! It will help bring more variety and texture to your shoot! Promise you won’t regret it! Haylie and Greg did perfect with the neutral fall colors!
